Your message isn’t what you “think” people want to hear.
That fabricated message will do one of two things:
-Fall on deaf ears because there is a large group of people who see through bull shit.
In the Get Shit Done Group we had a conversation about Home and Relationships.
We talked about what kind of person we wanted to be for the people we love. What kind of person we were bringing to the table in our business relationships.
Have you ever thought about that? Continue reading “Home and Relationships”
Running businesses you will always run into people that just don’t work. And what I mean by that is, they don’t do their job. They are full of excuses, they don’t meet deadlines, and something tragic or life altering is always happening that stops them from accomplishing the thing they’ve told you they understand and are ready to take on.
And then…they don’t. Again. Continue reading “Leaders and Teams”
This is how I spent my day…
Sitting fireside soaking up the ambiance of this beautiful fire and getting some major hustle on. Continue reading “Getting Some Major Hustle On”
Once upon a time I was the girlfriend of a deployed Marine.
It was him. And me. That’s all that mattered in that, to what now feels like such a brief moment in time. In my heart, I knew he needed me, and I fully intended to be there as much as I possibly could as a support system to him.
It was the first time I made friends with women across the country whom I had never met. It was the first time I reached outside of my inner circle for connection and support. No one else got it. Honestly, I didn’t really even talk to the people “closest to me” about it at all. To this day they don’t really know much about that relationship… how deep it was, how it affected me, how it unraveled… Continue reading “I am an American”
I realized today that I’m sick and damn tired of being lonely.
Well, I didn’t JUST realize this today but it did just become completely clear that this is a reoccurring thing for me and quite frankly I’m sick of it.
I could choose to get upset with friends or significant others for this feeling. I could be sad or unhappy or start a fight. But then I remembered a valuable lesson…. Continue reading “Even on my worst day I’m still killin’ it”
Coconut Oil, The Obsession is Real….
It is my #1 life hack. It’s my secret weapon. My answer to everything. Seriously.
It all started about over a year ago when someone told me about using it in my coffee instead of creamer. Then I looked it up on Pinterest and the obsession began. I started testing out all of the tips and suggestions I had read to see what worked and what didn’t.
Now I use coconut oil multiple times a day, for many many different things.
I have people ask all the time, “What do you use it for?” Continue reading “The Obsession is Real… Coconut Oil.”
I recently posted a video about how terrible and unnecessary it was to constantly be complaining. In the video I offered up a few suggestions to help you flip the conversation if someone is constantly complaining to you…
(Here is a link to the video, if you didn’t see it: TruthBomb Tuesday- Complaining )
After the video was released I got A LOT of feedback… people agreeing or happy to now have a tool they can utilize to help friends switch their complaining conversations around.
BUT I got an overwhelming amount of requests for me to cover the subject of “How to Stop Complaining” Continue reading “How to Stop Complaining & Be Happy”
Haters. How often do you scroll through your Facebook and see someones post about people who are “hating on them” or trying to knock them off their success train?
It happens more than it should. I myself have dealt with my fair share of Haters. Much more frequently lately, since I’ve started my coaching business. I’ve learned that there will always be those people who try to put you down, try to dull your sparkle. BUT my question is, why do they always get the spot light? If they want to be assholes, why don’t we tell them to kiss it and move on? Continue reading “What about your supporters?”
“Rome wasn’t built in a day and it sure as hell wasn’t built by only one person”
Flash back to one year ago today… I was cleaning up from hosting a huge community event for my previous employer. I remember thinking how proud of that event I was. We were expecting approximately 200 people to attend and I remember my boss telling me that he was concerned that I didn’t do enough to get the word out to ensure that we would get enough attendance. I knew that I had been dedicated to advertising and promoting this event for months, I had given it all of my effort. The thought that maybe I didn’t do enough completely crushed my energy. I then walked in on the day of the event with the “lets just get this over with” attitude, I was disappointed with myself before the event even began. Continue reading “Rome wasn’t built in a day..”
