I was finishing a book the other day and it promoted this insane overwhelming feeling of gratitude. One small statement caused me to go into deep thought about intentional living and why it works.
The statement: “This is why we practice”
Mindfulness mainly but all areas fit under the umbrella really.

Every Monday afternoon I have a video chat with my Therapist.
Once a month I meet with my Psychiatrist.
I also work with an Intuitive Coach and other healers regularly for different things.
My mental health matters to me.
My emotional health is a priority.
I am a priority. Continue reading “I AM A PRIORITY”
You owe it to yourself… and everyone else in your life.
In a world where we’re always connected and plugged in, being present is something we really need to make a priority.
In episode 4 of my podcast we go deeper into the conversation of how to turn off the auto-response, to stop going through the motions, and instead begin to live as an active member of your life. Continue reading “Being Present”
Feeling scrambled? Maybe flustered even?
Down about yourself? Or a little like you’re lost?
Look around you, at your physical space…
Your office space
How does it look?
More importantly, how does it FEEL?
If it’s cluttered, stuff stacked everywhere, dust piled up, nothing in the room that makes you smile or feel joy… then I suggest you start there. Continue reading “Physical Space”
You are not an island.
Feeling that way is a choice. A choice that is ultimately yours to make but in the grand scheme of things isn’t going to get you anywhere… besides digging yourself deeper into your own hole.
Open your eyes, I bet there is someone standing nearby who genuinely cares in an unbiased way. Let them see you. Let them come stand next to you. They aren’t there to save you. They aren’t there to judge or have any personal agenda at all actually. In fact, they are probably the one who is not saying much at all right now, just standing there holding space even when you can can’t understand how or why they would even still be there in the first place. The heat kicks on in this house and it’s like you turned on a white noise machine. Chandler hates it because it means he has to turn up the TV to hear his shows, but I actually find it super comforting, especially in the morning before anyone else is awake. It’s like a barrier of sound that muffles everything just a little bit, just enough for me to refocus my thoughts when life gets a little too loud.
And guys, let me tell you life has been really damn loud lately. A lot has been happening that I couldn’t have planned for if I was Merlin himself but as I sit here this morning reflecting back on how life has been transpiring lately and looking to what this week has in store, I can honestly say that through it all, I’ve stayed surprisingly calm. My favorite question (Well, one of them):
Q: What are you training for?
A: Life. I’m training for life.

I often think to myself, “Why must we make things so complicated?”
While yes, this is the case when it comes to business and planning and execution more often than not, we also do the same thing when it comes to our personal lives. We make everything so damn complicated.

For those of you who have been following me for a while… You know that I’m constantly doing things. I made the commitment a couple years ago to dive head first into this entrepreneurial world. It’s been enlightening. It’s been scary. It’s been the textbook definition of a roller coaster ride. I am so grateful in many ways, and I’m so grateful for all of you. You’ve watched me continue to expand this journey. It just means the freaking world to me. It’s honestly an honor to have you in my space, and in my world.
There’s a lot of lessons from 2017… I’m a firm believer that if you’re not feeling uncomfortable, and making mistakes, and learning lessons then you’re not growing. That means you’re standing still. That’s not a good place to be, right? At least not for me. I’ll go crazy.
