Reviews

Reviews

Do you only leave reviews when you’re unpleased?

When something didn’t go your way or you feel like you were mistreated?

It seems that there is a large group of people who only utilize the review option online when they are pissed and need to rip an establishment a new one over something.

Is that you?

Or do you leave reviews when you have a GOOD experience too? Continue reading “Reviews”

Intentional Shopping

Intentional Shopping

Are you one of those people who only gets certain things for certain stores?

Because I am.

I frequent Trader Joe’s and Aldi more than anything BUT neither of them have the oats I like so I go to Dierbergs for those and for fage yogurt because I’m obsessed. AND Annie’s Burritos because also obsessed. (OH, and the local produce stand because they’re unbeatable on produce. Plus it’s the cutest place ever and makes me so happy!) Then there are items that I refuse to purchase anywhere besides Sam’s Club because the price point is just too good to pass up. I mean, I can get a massive bag of coffee beans at Sam’s for roughly the same price as a small, off brand bag at a regular grocery store and I just am not about that life.

I think we all have our things. Things we like from certain places for certain reasons. Continue reading “Intentional Shopping”

The Ripple Effect and Its Impact

The Ripple Effect and Its Impact

I’ve spoken about the ripple effect before and will continue to do so as it’s such a beautiful way to see the power of your actions, your words, your intentions.

Well, this morning one of my long time clients sent me a message sharing a win that one of her clients sent to her. It was thanking her for teaching her the Wheel of Intentional Living. It was explaining how different her life is now that she’s started making her mornings a priority and how powerful the act of consistent journaling has become in her world. Constant Game

Constant Game

Sometimes it’s a constant game of calling yourself out. Yep, every time you have a negative thought, or want to ignore a task, or find yourself going down the rabbit hole of fiction after making an assumption.

That work never stops. It’s something you have to actively change, address, and improve on.

Does it get easier? Yes. Continue reading “Constant Game”

Behind The Curtain

Behind The Curtain

We all want to see behind the curtain sometimes, right?

Take a look at what’s REALLY happening in someone’s life or behind the scenes, know the real story. Well, that is something I take really freaking seriously so this week, I decided to do just that.

Recommit

Recommit
During the weeks approaching the new year, there is a lot of pressure out there to make the right choice when it comes to goals. It seems like the majority is saying that if you don’t make massive goals then you’re not going to achieve any growth and/or success.
The pressure gets louder than the purpose and as a result, a lot of us are left feeling overwhelmed, like we’re not doing enough, and a bit hopeless.

Let’s Talk About Pooping…

Let’s Talk About Pooping…

Okay, let’s talk about pooping.

Yep, you read that right but it’s not what you think. I’m not going to talk to you about how your diet effects your bowel movements or try to tell you about the latest cleanse. What I’m wanting to talk about is the amount of time people spend in the bathroom “pooping” or most likely just sitting there on your phone hiding away from the world and killing some time.

Here’s the thing… If it legit takes you 45 minutes to take a shit every single day then you probably DO need to see a doctor or adjust your diet because that is not healthy. But if you’re sitting there fucking around on your phone or daydreaming or just wasting time, then only you can be honest with yourself about that. The whole “act” of doing your business in there probably takes 5-10 minutes tops. The sitting and dragging it out into a marathon is simply a choice.

Now maybe it’s a conscious choice. Maybe it’s the place where you choose to get some quiet time away from the loudness of your life (or kids). Maybe it’s where you get caught up responding to comments on social media. Maybe it’s where you take a little time to read that blog you subscribe to without being interrupted. All of those things are a CHOICE. And if that is an intentional part of your day, then more power to ya my friend. Do you, just wash your hands and your phone when you’re done.

But here’s my point here… how many of you are actually being conscious with of ALL of your time? Continue reading “Let’s Talk About Pooping…”

Intentional Living

Intentional Living

It was recently brought to my attention that I make all of this look really “easy”. Ya know, this intentional living thing.

Which I was honestly taken aback by because it’s not easy at all, not even a little bit. And I feel like I show all sides of the spectrum but I guess since I show the struggles after I’ve gotten through to the other side that it still looks like I’m handling everything with ease. Now don’t get me wrong, there are times that because I am so damn proactive that things to do appear to be easy and flowy and glamorous but that’s because I put in the work up front. I take the extra time in the moments to handle the things or prepare or set myself and my family up for success. Continue reading “Intentional Living”

Massive Shifts

Massive Shifts

Credit cards paid off. Mindset work to shift your family. Self awareness through consistency. Calmness instead of Chaos… what do these all have in common?

Operation: DO.

When I first started Operation: DO it was a place for me to be able to give more detailed coaching in a group setting. The goal was to be able to help people that weren’t ready or didn’t need private coaching. I share about my life and my experiences. I teach on productivity and time management. And I talk about life. How to make yours easier, less complicated, more intentional, and to design it exactly the way you want it to be.
