“We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection with nature, we have actually lost our connection to ourselves.”
A couple of months ago I made a promise to myself to spend more time out in nature so I could feel more grounded and “reconnect” with nature. But recently every time I went on a hike or out to one of my favorite places, I noticed that I still wasn’t feeling connected…it just didn’t feel “right”.
And that’s because I was at a transition in my world and for a glimpse in time I had allowed myself to lose connection with me.
