You Are Not An Island

You Are Not An Island

Sometimes I feel like things are just swirling around me. Like there’s no place for it to land. Like there is always a judgement or agendas attached to it all. Or more like I’m combating that and working to debunk them all as they arise.

You may have heard me mention this before but something I am insanely proud of is the level of self awareness I have cultivated over the years. In that I’m able to acknowledge things so much quicker than ever before and It allows me to process through things almost in real time versus having the “aftermath”.

Want Unlimited Inspiration?

Want Unlimited Inspiration?

Be your own motivation.

I feel like it’s far too rare that we acknowledge our own successes, our own strengths, our own magic, our own glow, our own beauty, our own purpose.

We look outside of ourselves for too much. We’re always searching for answers, for motivation, for inspiration, for approval and I’m not saying that’s always a bad thing but what I am saying is that it seems that most generally, people only do that. They always are searching outside.

You know where I learned the truest of true magic and value and answers lie?

Inside of me.

Reflection

Reflection

Something I do every day like clock work is look at my history. The memories on Facebook are cool and I like to see them and be motivated by my own previous content but man, my history on Snapchat stories is where it’s at.

Energy Exchange

Energy Exchange

More and more frequently I’ve found myself in conversations with various people from all different walks of life about things they’re noticing make them feel overly drained or zoned out.

One of my friends said “I always feel like I’m more dumb and a zombie after scrolling”.

I went on to explain to her how normal that actually is (these days at least) and how it’s actually a massive exchange of energy that’s happening that we’re really not recognizing, therefore not making different choices OR giving that action the space it deserves without draining the life out of you.

Overspent Energy

Overspent Energy

**Originally Published January 24th, 2020**

I overspent my energy this week.

It doesn’t mean I overbooked or was too “busy” because that is actually a very different thing.

A while back my therapist told me about how she plans her week, which of course being the planner enthusiast that I am, I was all ears for some insight on how someone else does it. One thing that she explained is how she budgets her energy between the different responsibilities she has. Meaning she determined how many clients she was going to see that week/day based on the other obligations or activities she was going to have as well. She wanted to make sure she wasn’t spending all of her allotted energy on work, leaving an empty tank for her family when she got home. Continue reading “Overspent Energy”

All About You

All About You

We all want someone to be “all about us”, right?

To think we’re great. Watch our stories, read our posts, like our photos, watch our videos, and then talk to us in the background…you know in real life… and actually CARE what is happening in our worlds, in our minds, in our hearts. We want someone to pay attention. We want someone to want to be a part of our world.

And we want them to be up front about it, to tell us that they are into us. To tell us that they think we are marvelous. To never leave us guessing or assuming because they are just so damn clear with us about their feelings and intentions.
That’s basically the idea, right?

But then when we feel that way about someone else…we don’t tell them. We’re not clear. We give mixed signals. We stop liking their posts. We try to wait a certain number of minutes to respond to their messages or watch their story for fear of looking “too eager” or “too interested”.

Please stop and think about that for a minute. Continue reading “All About You”

Investing in Yourself

Investing in Yourself

13 coaches hired and close to $90,000 spent.

Business, Lifestyle, Mindset, Nutrition, Life, & Energy Coaches. Intuitive healers. Energy readings. Personal Trainers. Money Mindset sessions. Meditation training.

I started investing in coaching before I was making any money online.

I had recently left my $60k a year, salaried position and had no backup plan.

I paid for my first coach with cash I was scraping together by doing random freelance work for body shops and small businesses in my area.

I hustled during the day to run their businesses, projects, and marketing, then would work on building my knowledge, skills, and expertise with the information I was learning from my coach in the evenings. Continue reading “Investing in Yourself”

Multiple choice

Multiple choice

“The 10 commandments aren’t multiple choice”.

I was driving down the street a couple days ago and saw that written on a sign in front of a church.

I immediately thought, “That goes the same for Core 4”.

It’s not a multiple choice question.

You don’t get to just pick one and only focus on it and think that life is going to be peachy.

You don’t get to master one and then move to the next, no longer working on the first one and think that everything is going to still flow.

That’s not how it works.

They all fit together.

They all feed off each other. Continue reading “Multiple choice”
