Be your own motivation.
I feel like it’s far too rare that we acknowledge our own successes, our own strengths, our own magic, our own glow, our own beauty, our own purpose.
We look outside of ourselves for too much. We’re always searching for answers, for motivation, for inspiration, for approval and I’m not saying that’s always a bad thing but what I am saying is that it seems that most generally, people only do that. They always are searching outside.
You know where I learned the truest of true magic and value and answers lie?
Inside of me.

Something I do every day like clock work is look at my history. The memories on Facebook are cool and I like to see them and be motivated by my own previous content but man, my history on Snapchat stories is where it’s at.

I went to catch up with a friend this morning, we met outside of the restaurant and I yelled my normal, “WHAT’S UPPPP!” greeting across the lot. As we were walking in, he replied “Well apparently EVERYTHING. You have a lot to tell me, huh?”
“Yep. All of the things are happening.”
“Like all of the things… at the same time.”
“Ya know, all of the things all in about 5 minutes. Yes. Quick and fast, just how I like it. You know I’m impatient.” I said jokingly.

Clearing space today.
This has become something I truly enjoy doing regularly. Because what I’ve realized is that physically every time I do this practice, I get rid of more stuff that is not serving me. Almost 3 years ago I moved out of my boyfriend’s house.
After living together for over a year and halfway into our second year together, he dropped a huge bomb on me. Something that would have ended most relationships.
He told me that even though he has said he wanted to have more children, the more he thought about it, he realized that he did not. It was not an option for him.
You see, he is 19 years older than me. He has two grown children and a granddaughter, so it’s understandable that he wouldn’t want any more.
But I was blown away when he said this to me, for many reasons. Continue reading “Be Honest And Clear”
Lately I just feel so CONNECTED.
Connected on such a deeper level. Connected to myself, to the universe, to my purpose, to my clients, and to people I didn’t really think I would be connected to at all. It’s almost a little strange.
But then again, it’s really not. Trusting in that feeling, in that connection is the most comforting thing I’ve felt in a long time.
I can’t explain to you why I trust it, but I do.
I think it comes down to 2 main things…. Continue reading “Being Connected”
