About 4 years ago I realized that this was not the way. Busy as a badge of honor is one of the most ass-backwards things you could do.
Here’s the deal. I’m an over-worker by nature. I have to actively keep myself balanced or I will work unnecessarily long hours and everything else in my life will suffer.
I lived on that cycle for most of my life, I get it. You probably don’t know how else to be. Or you hear me talk about living life on your terms, having time for everything you actually need and WANT to do, and replacing the chaos with calm and think.. “Ya, cool story bro. That’s not possible in my life Jamie.”
I get it, you think I couldn’t possibly help you, with everything that’s on your plate, everything you want to accomplish, everything you’re striving for but in some areas keep missing. All of the busy and chaos and hustle grind in your life is super necessary and there is no other way. Ya, so do most of my clients until they finally quit fighting their own lives and choose to take a step in the other direction.
That’s my purpose.

When your team becomes your family.
It’s been such an interesting ride in building a virtual business these past 6 years. I remember when the thought of working with a coach or subcontractor that I’d never met before felt so foreign, or temporary.
Looking back I realize that due to the way I originally learned that business was “supposed” to be, that is where those beliefs came from.
“Good help is hard to find”
“Finding someone who is reliable is almost impossible”
“Sometimes you just need to find a warm body to fill the chair”
These are all things that I’m sure we’ve all heard a time or two when working in a management position or owning a business. These are things that we believe to be true because, well that’s what everyone says is true. Continue reading “Delegation”
People who want a solution will find one.
People who don’t will either keep complaining or ignore you completely when you try to help.
You can throw someone a million solutions or pieces of help and if they aren’t really looking for it or aren’t ready, it won’t matter. It will be instantly followed by a bunch of excuses to match.
That’s okay. Everyone comes to things in their own time.
You have to stop taking that on as YOUR responsibility.
No matter how hard you try, until someone is ready, they won’t hear you and instead you’re breaking yourself down and exhausting your efforts in the meantime. Continue reading “Solutions”
Ya know what’s cool? When I can help my clients set up all of the admin, behind the scenes systems, and basically anything they need for their business to run smoothly and efficiently because I’ve done it too.
Before I had an assistant, I did it all myself. I took the webinars. I paid for trainings. I built it all myself at one point. I tweaked it along the way too so I have several options to suggest depending on what my client is looking to create.
And before I was full time building this business, I built other peoples businesses. Every department. Every level. All of the things. In the auto body industry, automotive repair, towing, event planning, landscaping construction, transportation, risk management, property damage assessment, claims management, promotional marketing… I think that covers most of it. What if you were just open to ANY and ALL possibilities in ALL areas of your life?
Well, that one got me good because I could have sworn that I was in fact THAT open.
I believed that I was no longer trying to force the Universe’s hand into only delivering to me in the way that I had lined out and that was it.
The truth is, I have done that in so many ways and in so many places and that has been completely life-changing over the past couple of years. Surrender, remember?
I told you about it. I explained how it works. And how hard it can be. And I got really good at it.

Too many people make resolutions because they think that’s what we’re “supposed to do” this time of year but the truth is, that belief is way OFF.
What we should be doing this time of year is a mixture of reflection, connecting in with how we really want our lives to be, and how we can set the tone to make that actually happen.
Not through goal making but through intention setting. Through establishing some deeply rooted purpose and direction around how you’re wanting your new year to be.
We have the power to create just that and in turn, be able to truly bob and weave as needed throughout the year. And if 2020 taught us anything, it’s that being able to pivot is a necessity.
If any of this is resonating, my newest program is for you.
What do you get? Continue reading “Establishing Deeply Rooted Purpose”
I remember being told that balance didn’t exist. That if I wanted to truly build something I just had to keep my head down and do the work.
Good thing I don’t always follow instructions because that would have never worked. When I did try to operate that way back when I was working a “day job”, it landed me in the hospital more times than one.
The truth is, craving that balance has led me down one of the best paths I could have imagined and as a result, I get to share it with other people so that they can have it too. Continue reading “High Performers”
“A woman who continues to shatter the stigma of something that tries it’s damnedest to hold you back but will never succeed.”
I ran across these words today. Words that a precious client and fellow boss lady who has a chronic illness said about me during an interview I did for her podcast a couple of years ago. Continue reading “Shatter The Stigma”
I was finishing a book the other day and it promoted this insane overwhelming feeling of gratitude. One small statement caused me to go into deep thought about intentional living and why it works.
The statement: “This is why we practice”
Mindfulness mainly but all areas fit under the umbrella really.

Having a ring side seat to watch my clients win is something I’ll never get tired of witnessing.
It’s truly an honor.
It’s an honor to be entrusted with their most vulnerable moments, their fears, their worries, their losses, and their moments they see as “not good enough” or not making it.
