“A woman who continues to shatter the stigma of something that tries it’s damnedest to hold you back but will never succeed.”
I ran across these words today. Words that a precious client and fellow boss lady who has a chronic illness said about me during an interview I did for her podcast a couple of years ago. Continue reading “Shatter The Stigma”
Do you ever have those moments where someone says something to you, or about you and it TOTALLY catches you off guard? Like in a good way, though. In a way that makes you sit back in your chair and go “WOW”… and your heart feels like it might burst?
Yeah, that just happened to me. And I wanted to share it with you;
“I reached out to Jamie 3 years ago with the idea of something I’d never heard of before, starting a coaching business for hairstylists.
I did NOT expect her response.
When I told her my idea, she said, “I don’t think you know how quickly you can make money doing that.”
Fast forward 3 years later, and we’ve built things I never even dreamed of when I made that first phone call.
What I’ve learned, is that the magic is in the mundane. It’s the consistency of the mindset work. It’s the journaling, creating space for quiet and rest, and visualizing. The things we are “too busy” to do are actually the things that create everything we want.
Do it for a little while and it works… and that’s when most people stop.
Do it for a long time, and it creates the foundation for a life you wouldn’t even dream possible.
Do the things Jamie teaches, consistently and unwaveringly, and watch your whole life change.”
Reading those words that a private client of mine sent brings tears to my eyes and an immense amount of pride to my heart. It’s always great to see your work… work. And to see it change someone’s life is just icing on the cake.

I was finishing a book the other day and it promoted this insane overwhelming feeling of gratitude. One small statement caused me to go into deep thought about intentional living and why it works.
The statement: “This is why we practice”
Mindfulness mainly but all areas fit under the umbrella really.

Do you only leave reviews when you’re unpleased?
When something didn’t go your way or you feel like you were mistreated?
It seems that there is a large group of people who only utilize the review option online when they are pissed and need to rip an establishment a new one over something.
Is that you?
Or do you leave reviews when you have a GOOD experience too? Continue reading “Reviews”
I’ve spoken about the ripple effect before and will continue to do so as it’s such a beautiful way to see the power of your actions, your words, your intentions.
Well, this morning one of my long time clients sent me a message sharing a win that one of her clients sent to her. It was thanking her for teaching her the Wheel of Intentional Living. It was explaining how different her life is now that she’s started making her mornings a priority and how powerful the act of consistent journaling has become in her world. When I started searching for a way that everything was connected, it all changed for me. I was told by others that every area of our lives impacts the other and I believed that to be true, but the way it was being taught to me didn’t FEEL connected. It was all very logical and like a single task list. It seemed to be more about checking things off the list every day than it did about being present, engaged, and feeling into all of the things that I was doing every day instead.
And while I am the Queen of Productivity, that still didn’t sit well with me. Doing things just to say I did them? Nope. Certainly didn’t feel in integrity to me, not even a little bit.
So I started searching for a way to take it all deeper. I started researching psychology, energy, vibration, intention, feeling. I went down the rabbit hole of discovering how everything really was connected, on a deeper level. On a soul-based level. On a level that changed the entire way, I operated in every area of my life. And I found it. Continue reading “It’s All Connected”

I took my first business trip when I was 20. I was working for a Risk Management company at the time and the team I was a part of worked for one of the nation’s largest waste management companies. The division I worked for hosted their yearly training in Las Vegas and I was able to go. All expenses paid. It was amazing.
Second time ever being on a plane, first time ever traveling alone. Looking back now I don’t remember having the awareness of how great of an opportunity that was. Continue reading “My First Business Trip”
3 weeks after investing, she made more than enough to cover the cost of my coaching.
She was a single mom, running her own business, going through a very difficult divorce, and she had this massive idea. This idea she couldn’t ignore anymore. It was almost Christmas and “extra” money wasn’t a thing in her world any time, let alone around the holidays. But she made a leap on the gut feeling that she needed to work with me.
I will never forget our first call. It was so vulnerable. She cried, a lot. She ripped herself wide open about where she was at, where she had been, and what she was so scared to move forward with. And I remember sinking back into my chair thinking, “Holy shit, this girl is going to alter her entire universe with this work.”
The world was waiting for her to put this out there. Her people were waiting for her to put this out there. Her soul was longing to put this out there. So why hadn’t she? Continue reading “Transformation”
