What if you were just open to ANY and ALL possibilities in ALL areas of your life?

Well, that one got me good because I could have sworn that I was in fact THAT open.

I believed that I was no longer trying to force the Universe’s hand into only delivering to me in the way that I had lined out and that was it.

The truth is, I have done that in so many ways and in so many places and that has been completely life-changing over the past couple of years. Surrender, remember?

I am Happy

I am happy.

In a totally different way than ever before.

For very different reasons.

In some of the same beautiful ways but more so, in brand new, exciting, mindshattering ways.

And apparently THIS (pictured below) is the face of that happiness. It’s what expression I have instantly made in every photo for quite a while now. When I try to smile with my teeth, which is the norm for me and it looks forced and weird and inauthentic right now. I’m not sure how to explain it but that is obviously not the expression of the type of happiness I’m experiencing right now and I am totally okay with that!

This expression is one of exploration. It is one of adventure. It is one of learning. It is one of deeply experiencing something fucking beautiful with zero idea of how to really put said experiences into words just yet.

This expression is perfect for this phase

So, it’s been proven that the way you spend the first hour of your day sets the stage for the way your entire day is going to play out. And you know that I wholeheartedly believe in that statement.

I take my morning routine very seriously. But here’s the thing… it was really easy to stick to my morning routine when it was just me and two dogs in the house. The worst that happened was I was interrupted by a whine or a nudging wet nose who wanted a pet or a snuggle. A friend of mine posted this quote yesterday and when I was reminded of it I smiled from ear to ear.

I’ve seen this quote before but it couldn’t have reached me at a better time last night.

I was feeling heavy from some conversations that transpired throughout the day.
