As you know, I’m all about getting shit done and maximizing your performance. Yes, we can talk about strategies and plans and procedures to get you there. BUT here’s the thing, one of the MOST IMPORTANT things you can do to be a high performer and an overall HAPPIER person, is take control of how you spend your mornings.

Yep, you guessed it… you need to nail down a Morning Routine!

This is one of the most valuable tools I have in my box. When I don’t do it, my whole day is fucked. Everything feels outta wack. Nothing flows. I’m not totally in control of my thoughts or mood. I’m just not as happy and certainly not as productive.

So I decided to turn on a camera and show you in real time what I do each morning. Yep, I bring you into my bedroom, to the 6am wake up call and the messy hair and the puppies everywhere. I walk you through exactly what I do each morning and most importantly, WHY I DO IT.

I cannot say this enough: THIS IS MY MOST IMPORTANT TOOL.  

Don’t have your morning routine nailed down yet? Don’t worry, I got your back!

Here’s my suggestion; get a pen and paper and write down how you’d like to start your day each morning. What is important to you that you do each morning? What do you want to make sure you do during the day, but somehow always gets put on the back burner?

For me, I looked at all areas of my life…

  • Mindset/Personal development = Journaling. Mindset work. Reading.
  • Body/Health = Morning stretch routine. Supplements. Bullet Proof Coffee.
  • Business = Working with my planner. writing my blog post. Checking in on my team and email.
  • Organization/Focus = Make the bed! It’s the first thing you can mark off the list. Sets the stage for a productive mindset for the day.
  • Lifestyle= Taking care of the dogs first thing. They’re happy, I’m happy 🙂

Also, getting ready was an important part I had to make sure I made time for. WHY? I’m on camera all day, so getting “ready” is a big part of my day. It helps me feel confident and ready to tackle my list. Versus staying in PJ’s all day.

Whatever your morning routine looks like to you, that’s totally up to you. But START USING ONE NOW.  I promise you, it WILL make a big difference in your whole life. Not only in how things flow but in how you FEEL.
