Real talk: I have no space for people who don’t follow through.

Like… I just can’t. I don’t understand the concept or how there are so many people who just don’t do things and are just totally okay with it, like that’s just normal.

Maybe that is their normal, and that’s not my place to point out (unless I’m their coach of course) But still, it’s just not something I can stomach in my space.

HOLD ON A MINUTE. Maybe that IS normal? And I’m just different. My people are just different. I like the sound of that. That makes perfect sense.

What does normal mean anyway? —- okay back to my point.

This pet peeve of mine shines through mostly when it comes to MEN.

You can be the most attractive, tall, dark, handsome and chiseled creature on this planet but if you can’t seem to grasp the concept of following through, being a man of your word, and/or taking action; then just no. I can’t. And I’m not sorry.

It’s not something I typically talk about because it’s an expectation of mine that makes me sort of sound like a huge snotty bitch.

But here’s the thing, it’s an expectation of MINE. It’s something that I FIND ATTRACTIVE. I am simply NOT attracted to people who don’t possess that quality. And that is okay. We’re all entitled to our own opinions and setting our own expectations for what we allow in our life.

Fact: I am an Alpha.
Fact. I need an Alpha.
(more descriptively, Type Z. Look it up. Its’s interesting)

End of Story.

I wouldn’t say that all of my close friends are “Alpha’s” … but they ARE all strong, determined human beings who don’t spend their time talking about what they are going to do, they are out there doing it. But in the matter of a partner in life, he has to be Alpha. It’s just what attracts me. AND THAT’S OKAY.

My question to you is, do you have any personal expectations outlined when it comes to who you allow to get close to you?

Is it something that you actually talk about? Or hold yourself to?

I’m asking because I spent a lot of years not talking about it.

Almost feeling like I was wrong to think or want these things.

So, I challenge you to think about it and talk about it and don’t settle for less than it because ultimately you are in control of who you allow in your space and what kind of energy you get from your circle. It’s time to take responsibility for that. You owe it to yourself.
