I never liked working out, not at all. But I still went.

I’ve been going at least 3 times every week for a year now.

Why? Because I made a commitment to myself to take better care of my body.

I made a commitment to do whatever was necessary to FEEL better.

Looking better was just an added bonus.

Now I can honestly say that I feel better, more healthy, more energetic, more alert than I have in my entire life.

I feel strong. Mentally and physically.

I feel capable. I can lift things and that is pretty cool.

So here it is… the moment everyone that’s been on this journey with me has been waiting for, the moment you all told me I would eventually have….. I LIKE WORKING OUT.

I’ve finally started to actually ENJOY it. Not just in a “learn to love the suck” kind of way.

I truly look forward to it now.

It’s a whole new way of thinking for me.. and I like it😊

Why am I telling you this? Because sometimes we have to do things we don’t like. Sometimes THAT is what pushes us through to the next level.

And even more importantly, when we push through things we don’t particularly enjoy but we know it’s better for us, it shifts our mindset and strengthens our confidence.

Just something to think about next time those excuses come creeping into your mind!
